Letters to loved ones post box

The Letters to Loved Ones post box is located within the Memorial garden at South Lincolnshire Crematorium, offering a thoughtful and inclusive way to remember those who have died.

Visitors are invited to post letters or cards, sharing their thoughts and emotions, regardless of where a funeral was held. This initiative provides a unique opportunity for family and friends to feel a continued connection to their loved ones.

All letters are treated with the utmost respect. They are confidential, never opened, and are collected monthly to be shredded and composted. The resulting compost is used within the crematorium grounds to enrich the soil.

For environmental reasons, we kindly ask that all letters be written on compostable paper.
