Music is an important part of the funeral service, and we always strive to provide family’s first choices. All music in our library is high quality and legally sourced in accordance with licensing regulations.

Library Music

Music which is already in our extensive library include hymns, classical and other popular tracks.

Ordering Music

Music must be ordered at least two working days before the funeral, but the earlier the better. Obitus usually start processing orders the same day.

A confirmation email that Obitus have received your order from the funeral director will be sent to the crematorium and the funeral director. If there are any problems, the funeral director will be contacted and relay any requests or instruction to you. Finally, the crematorium and funeral director will receive an email when the music is ready at the crematorium.

Although we have an extensive library, there may be times when we may not have a particular requested piece. In this case, Obitus will try and source the track and, subject to it still being available to purchase, upload on to our system.

Should the track not be available, Obitus will advise your funeral director and request an alternative track. Please ensure that your music choices are ordered as early as possible to allow time for tracks to be sourced.
